The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umaru Radda, has donated a vehicle to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Katsina Sector Command to strengthen collaboration with the state government and enhance road safety operations.
The donation was made on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The vehicle is expected to support operational activities, particularly in ensuring safer road travel during official movements of the governor’s convoy.
The vehicle was presented at the Katsina State Government House by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir.
While receiving the vehicle, the FRSC Katsina Sector Commander, Maxwell K. Lede, expressed appreciation to the governor for the gesture, describing it as a significant boost to the corps’ operational capacity in the state.
He said the donation would further strengthen the ongoing partnership between the FRSC and the Katsina State Government in promoting road safety and effective traffic management.
Commander Lede also assured the governor that the gesture would be formally communicated to the Corps Marshal of the FRSC for appropriate acknowledgment.
He pledged the command’s continued commitment to improving road safety management and traffic administration in Katsina State, noting that the people of the state deserve the highest standard of service delivery from the corps.
